Frequently Asked Questions

Is this part of the ‘switch’ service guarantee?

Vfast offer hassle free switching for some services. However, the new Full Fibre product would include the supply a brand-new service, with new Fibre coming directly into your property which is supplied by Vfast. Therefore, in this instance the switching service is not available.

Do you have to dig up my garden or driveway to get the Fibre to my house?

Our local engineer will discuss the best path for the fibre once he has carried out a full site survey of the property. We do prefer to follow existing infrastructure such as overhead telephone cables where possible.

Do you put a box up outside my house, can I tell you where I want it put?

Our local engineers will work with you to find the best placement for the equipment, within the confines of the technology that we use.

Why is full fibre different to what I already have?

Full fibre has greater band width and can offer more stability along with great speeds that more traditional internet solutions are not able to provide.

Can I change my mind?

We offer a 14-day cooling off period from the date that the order is placed, if you are installed within this period, you will be waiving your right to this cancellation period.

Can I pick what day and time my installation will take place?

We would contact you with a proposed date for installation when our engineers are in your area. If this date does not work for you, we will be happy to work with you to find a time and date that is suitable.

Can I cancel my existing service as soon as I order from Vfast?

We would recommend that you wait until your service is fully installed and activated in case there are any issues on installation day.

What happens if I have a problem with my connection?

If you have any queries with your new connection, please call our friendly local support team on 01227 668901, option 2 and they will help you. If an engineer is required, we have our own dedicated team of engineers who are ready to help you.
