Using your Vfast broadband connection, you can make and receive calls using a standard handset, but at a cheaper price.
In the event of a powercut, or broadband failure, you will be unable to make emergency calls. Please make sure you have another way to dial 999.

City Fibre have committed to roll out Full Fibre across Medway. Some postcodes will be ready for a service sooner than others. When you pop in your postcode, you will be notified if we are accepting orders for your postcode yet.
If your postcode is ready: If you get the lovely message that we can accept your order, we will get to work straight away to bring you your new Very Fast Fibre service. Within 1-2 working days we will get In touch with you by email to let you know of an anticipated installation date. Normally this should take place within 2 weeks of us contacting you. In the mean time we will post you your router so you are ready to go for installation day.
If your postcode is not ready yet: If its not ready now just pop in your info when prompted and we will keep you up to date on progress. City Fibre are moving quickly through the build roll out so I’m sure it wont be long before we can provide you very fast full fibre speeds!
On the day of installation a CityFibre engineer will arrive to install your new equipment. They will need access to the property and they will install a new ONT (optical network terminal) to deliver your Fibre. This is what they will connect your router to (we will have already sent this to you by post). Once your router is connected its over to Vfast as your service provider to make sure the router works and is delivering your package speeds. Please note that we cannot guarantee the exact location of the ONT install. It will be placed in the most suitable position to enable ultrafast speeds to perform at their best, this will be at the engineers discretion.
You will need a router which we will send to you by post once we receive your order. The other equipment if provided by CityFibre on the day of installation.
Unfortunately, with our Full Fibre product we are unable to offer a switching service. This is because the Fibre delivered into your property is brand new and there is no existing line to take over. All you need to do is make sure you are out of contract with your existing supplier, so you can cancel and not get charged any exit fees. The best thing to do is call them or check your contract with them. We will provide you with an installation date for your new service, bear in mind, on occasion the installation doesn’t always go ahead first time, we recommend you cancel your service once your new Vfast service is all up and running so you don’t experience any down time.
Vfast offer hassle free switching for any existing service. However, the new Full Fibre product would include the supply a brand-new service, with new Fibre coming directly into your property which is supplied by our partner City Fibre. Therefore, in this instance the switching service is not available.
Our recommendation if you are considering ordering a Full Fibre product from Vfast is to ensure that you have all the information you need from your current supplier regarding termination before you place your order. If you have specific dates when you want your new service to start based on your old service terminating, we are happy to support that and arrange for installation at just the right time.
Please note, cancelling the service with your existing supplier is the responsibility of the bill payer, as this product supplies a new service, there is no line for us to take over, which is why our hassle free switching service doesn’t apply here. However, we of course endeavour to offer a hassle-free installation and will support you however we can to make it simple.

Vfast will be your Internet Service Provider. CityFibre have done all the groundworks installing the physical Fibre into the ground and up to your property, the actual internet service that is delivered is with Vfast.
The day your service is live and you are getting your package speeds, this is the day of installation that your billing will start. You will get an email when you place your order with all the information you need about billing dates.
